It is unfortunate that these study did not provide a background of testosterone (in the form of a gel) to counteract the hypogonadism caused by the use of Oxandrolone which can account for the loss of LBM after cessation. Hypogonadism induced by androgens can last for many weeks after cessation and is responsible for loss of most of the lean body mass gained through androgen treatment.

I am glad to see that the abdominal fat reductions were significant even after weeks of cessation.
