Fig. 2.   Changes in rectal temperature from 2300 (before the start of the VDT task) to the end of the VDT task. Significant effects of task (P < 0.01) and time course (P < 0.01) on rectal temperature were found, and significant interactions between task and time course (P < 0.01) and between task and brightness of display (P < 0.05) were also found.
