A new renal artery clamp and applicator

A modification in the design of the Goldblatt renal artery clamp and a description of a new single unit applicator-adjuster are presented. Detailed construction diagrams as well as a description of operative technique are given. The new clamp and applicator were used extensively in preparing a colony of renal hypertensive dogs in our laboratories. The results were excellent and the operative time and difficulties were reduced.
