The solubility of ammonia in pooled human plasma was measured by a constant flow equilibration method. The solubility coefficient in liter NH3 (STPD) per liter plasma at 1 mm Hg partial pressure of ammonia was found to be 1.07, .91, .83 and .79 at 32, 37, 40.5 and 41.5°C, respectively.
